Description
The Norman Williams Public library is in Woodstock Vermont. The stone facade makes it look like a medeval castle or keep. The is a war memroial out front for the members of Woodstock that took part in WWII. Woodstock has Route 4 running through the center of town and in the autumn draws many leaf peepers because of the iconic scenic areas nearby. From the Jenne Farm to the south and Sleepy Hollow to the North and the fact that just off of the Green is the Middle covered Bridge, there is much to recommend this shire town. The Library was built in 1883 and has been remodled many times over the past 130 years. Today it offers free wireless Internet in the village area of Woodstock via ‘Wireless Woodstock’, a partnered venture with the community.
