A rush to post. Totality. The small star to the left of the sun and slightly above is believed to be Regulus. Regulus, also designated Alpha Leonis (α Leonis, abbreviated Alpha Leo, α Leo), is the brightest star in the constellation of Leo and one of the brightest stars in the night sky, lying approximately 79 light years from the Sun. The latter according to Wikipedia.

Skip-Watched it too in Oregon- What an amazing print and what an amazing opportunity to see it, across the US.Getting the star had to be tricky but you did it ! Bravo to you and your gifted photography. We had a guard base drone in the air next to the totality. Did you get the diamond ring too?
