Description
I visited Castlerigg stone circle ay the longest day of 2009. I spent there the afternoon and evening with families of "hippies" that are experiencing the sixties together. Whole families, couples and individuals that enjoys music food and spiritual experience together.
Castlerigg is perhaps the most atmospheric and dramatically sited of all British stone circles, with panoramic views and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat as a backdrop. It is also among the earliest British circles, raised in about 3000 BC during the Neolithic period.
